Perfect forest park. Excellent facilities that are well looked after by the forest service staff. Nice path network that is well maintained. Cycling is forbidden but the forest is perfect for jogging or taking the kids / pets for a walk. The forest also provides access to the river Bann. The gentle slopes of the forest provide a true insight into nature with a good mix of spruce and broadleaf trees offering lovely colour in the autumn and in spring beautiful bluebells carpet the forest floor. A must visit place.
Beautiful place to explore, it is amazing when the blue bells are out the only let down is the amount of dog poo around the forest walk. Need wellies at times depending on what time of year you visit. Has public toilets at the car park and are reasonably clean. Worth a visit with the kid's.
Really nice well maintained woodland, but 4 to park? That's the highest price I've seen in a forest car park in the UK
Peaceful quiet place. Easy circular walk. Will definitely visit again.
Amazing beautiful forest perfect for walks with family and pets. There is 2 paths red for long walks and blue for short walks. You get to walk right beside the river ban. Parking is free and open till 9pm. There is public toilets next to the parking.
