Tardree forest is huge, decent walks all over the park but v little signage. Take good boots as it can get v muddy.
Beautiful and Serene but people should not leave their trash.
Car park busy. Lovely walks in the forest with only birdsong for company. Popular with dogwalkers. A good ace to clear your head.
A great place to take your dog, amongst beautiful scenery and with varied levels of exertion throughout the walk. Some steep hills up and down but mostly fairly easy.
The entrance could do with some work to make it safer and resurfacing for the entire carpark would be advisable. Also there is no lighting in the carpark making it risky for lone females in the darker winter hours. However I here it is a popular spot for doggers if that's your thing.
