Waited 50 mins for sandwich at lunch time as waiter made mistake inputting details of order into computer for kitchen. Only when II asked where was our meal they told us.No one came to say sorry except very young waiter who was in training. We go there every time we are iin Ballymena will think again before experiencing same treatment.
This is the first time i have been in the smoking monkey part of the grouse. Its a lovely area upstairs with the live music filtering up from downstairs. The open courtyard between where we were and the origin nite club is a fantastic idea. I was there for an engagement party and th service and food were excellent
Great location in centre of town. Always have a delicious meal here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The new bar at the back called Smoking Monkey is awesome and like the nightclub renovation upstairs.
Excellent food and service and a very good selection on the menu.... The interior of the building is stunning with old school wood carvings, panels and the ceilings are a work of art and it's a cosy place to eat with plenty of space between seating areas... A log fire burning in the background gives a nice ambient feeling.. Highly recommend a visit.. No reservations required.
Been going here for years and it gets better and better each time. I was here today and the food was delicious and cheap for the large portions. I find their drinks range second to none and they always have some new lines on so it keeps things interesting. If you want a place with decent clientele in the town then definitely go here. It is nice and comfortable and they keep it very clean too.
